Rum aged in Mallorcan wine barrels

A new form of rum and a local product from Mallorca.

Small batches of rum brought from Guatemala, the world’s leading rum producing region, are then aged for a minimum period of 5 years in Mallorca, in barrels that previously held organic Mallorcan Manto Negro wine, a local native grape variety, from the Tianna Negre winery.

These barrels add a local and unique character to the delicious Guatemalan rum, with notes of wine and wood that, combined with the body of the rum, create a new type of aged rum, delicious to enjoy on its own or to use in mixers such as Rum and Coke, as well as in the preparation of Tiki cocktails.
